Cancer has tried to rewrite my story, but here’s the thing—it doesn’t get the last word.

You’d think going back to school would slow things down a bit, but life has a funny way of proving you wrong.

Trying to fit into a box or be a cookie-cutter image is a surefire way to always wonder if you missed out because you did what you thought people would accept instead of what fueled your passion.

I may be cancer-free, but the journey’s far from over!

Cliff notes from this past week: drains suck, pain management has gone better than expected, I look deformed (for now), and I didn’t get something that I was really hopeful for.

I will be having a double mastectomy and a sentinel node biopsy.

There is a sense of freedom creeping in.

Had it not been for this diagnosis, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to experience this joy.

This journey has taught me the importance of prioritizing health, both physical and mental.

This past week has been one of the hardest I've ever lived.
